Any work that involves your main DB board, new circuits, rewiring, or changes to the incoming supply requires a DEWA permit. Minor repairs like replacing a socket, switch or light fitting on an existing circuit typically don’t. We handle the permit process for you on jobs that need it.

Yes. Older DB boards in Dubai apartments are often undersized for modern power demands. We assess your current load, advise on what capacity you actually need, and carry out the upgrade with the proper DEWA approvals. This is one of the most effective ways to stop repeated circuit tripping.

Yes, we work in homes, apartments, villas, offices and commercial spaces. Office electrical requirements are more complex: you may need dedicated circuits for servers, proper commercial lighting, GFCI protection in wet areas, and coordination with building management. A standard home inspection usually takes 1–2 hours depending on the size of the property. We check your DB board, wiring condition, earthing, socket and switch condition, and any visible signs of overloading or poor previous work. We give you a written summary of what we find.

Almost always yes, if you’re doing significant renovation work. Opening up walls gives us access to check and replace ageing wiring, and it’s the right time to upgrade if your current panel is undersized. Doing it mid-renovation is far cheaper than coming back later. Discuss it with us during the site visit.

No, not for anything beyond the most basic tasks like changing a light bulb. Any work involving wiring, circuits, or the DB board must be carried out by a DEWA-licensed electrician. Unlicensed electrical work can void your building’s insurance, create liability issues with your landlord, and most importantly, it’s genuinely dangerous. Please don’t risk it.

If the exact same fault we repaired returns within 30 days of our visit, we come back and fix it at no charge. This covers our workmanship, the repair we carried out. It doesn’t cover new faults that develop independently, or damage caused by misuse. We’ve never had to invoke this clause often, we fix things properly the first time.
